Geraint Williams is a consultant ophthalmologist specialising in corneal and external eye disease and cataract and refractive surgery. His focus is ocular surface inflammation including dry eye, infection and scarring. He also cares for patients with corneal dystrophies such as Fuchs’ Endothelial Corneal Dystrophies, Keratoconus, pterygium and dry eye disorders. His surgical interests include lamellar corneal transplantation and cataract and refractive surgery in complex cornea and external diseases.
Geraint undertakes his NHS work at the Worcester Royal Hospital and Kidderminster Treatment Centre, running the corneal and external disease and cataract and refractive service. He also works at the Spire Eye Centre, Worcester, is also an honorary consultant ophthalmologist at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham and Honorary Clinical Senior Lecturer at the University of Birmingham.
